Maiko Hosoda has a great passion for sharing music with her students. She believes that music lessons should be a time that her students can express themselves freely. She takes advantage of improvisation, musical kinesthetics and a range of proven techniques to provide students with a balance of music skills. As an educator, she has trained extensively in Carl-Orff Schulwerk and Dalcroze Eurhythmics and she utilizes these methods in teaching. She teaches and has taught piano, percussion, theory and ensemble at numerous early education musical schools, and privately from age of 3 to adults.
